Tesa's 2nd Bday - Feb. 28, 2010

Since Tes is a Leap Day baby she didn't really have a birthday this year! Even though her daddy said she doesn't get a birthday this year, we celebrated anyways! We had a big party yesterday and today we celebrated a little more (just cause we can)!

Tes and Dalia had fun playing more 'Pin the Tail on the Horse' and riding on the borrowed rocking horse! (We have to set the timer on their horsey rides so that they take turns).
Video: Tes riding the Rocking Horse:

After church we had a little birthday celebration for Tesila! We played "Don't Eat Pete!" Which Tesila loved!!! Dalia was a little timid. She doesn't like it to be her turn because she gets scared when we shout "Don't Eat Pete!" Tes got to open two more presents: an outfit from grandma Ha. and a silly orange pony from mom.

Then we decorated a cupcake with pink frosting, pink m&m's, and 2 pink candles! We lit the candles and sang "Happy Birthday to Tesila!" I think she liked it better this time then she did yesterday! and she did a better job blowing out her candles today too!

Happy Birthday Tesila Rose! We love you so!!

Tesa's 2nd Bday Party! - Feb. 27, 2010

My baby Tesila is 2 years old!!
Since she LOVES horses we had a horse themed party!
She is also particular about which horses she likes. She likes the real looking horses, not the my little ponies. We also had Tesila's favorite snacks, which are also 'horsey' snacks! Apples & Carrots!

Here is Tes wearing her new party dress from Auntie Jami and her birthday presents! Also the decorations from her party. The Carousel horse from Gigi. I borrowed a rocking horse from my friend Serena for a week! I drew a Horse for a "Pin the Tail on the Horse" game. Tesila loved it! She would pet the horse and give him kisses and hugs (by placing her cheek up against the picture, which resulted in her having brown all over her face and hands, since i colored the horse with chalk). We had her horse figurines around. Our Happy Birthday to Tesila pillow! And her "Horse" birthday cake!! (It is the second fondant cake i have made. I spent all yesterday afternoon creating it: it took me about 5-6 hours to decorate. I had a fun time decorating it. Something i only want to do every once in awhile. Then i put 2 new horse figurines on it since she is 2).

We had some friends and family over to celebrate: Papa (of course, he came into town just for Tesila's birthday!); Mat, Bri, & Olivia; Jamie, Reuben, Isaac, & Bella; Eric, Emily, & Emily's mom Brenda; Lincoln, Carrie, Matthew, Scott, Luke, & Maggie; Cameron Ho. (he was lucky enough to be in town visiting Lincoln and got to attend).
The little kids played "Pin the tail on the Horse" by being blind folded and sticking magnetic tails so the horse who was on the refrigerator. The older boys (the dads) tossed the magnetic tails from a distance to the horse. As soon as i said it's time for presents, Tesila was right there by the present table. Picked up a present sat down and started to open it. All the other kids of course gathered around Tes to help her open the presents and to see what she got.
Tes got: the movie "Sleeping Beauty" (her favorite), a bubble machine, a dragon (from papa that she picked out at the store and wouldn't let go of it), a princess purse complete with toy cell phone, keys, money, fake lipstick (which she calls 'chap stick' that she loves to apply over and over), fake eyeshadow (she loves to apply this too); a Belle barbie and barbie size Horse!; a princess magnetic book (that she LOVES!!), a huge stuffed horse!, a big book of disney princess stories. Tes has been spoiled!! Thank you all for the gifts!

Then it was time for cake. She didn't quite like everyone singing to her. She can be so shy sometimes. I also think she just wanted to play with her new magnetic princess book.
Picture of Grandpa and 2 of his little princesses in their matching dresses from Auntie Jami! (thanks james!). The girls love to have papa read to them. Olivia made friends with my dad and would go ask him to pick her up and just talk to him, she also loved having him read to her too, just like she was one of his very own princesses. Olivia would point to my dad and say, "he's my friend."

Walk with Papa - Feb. 25, 2010

The last time my dad came to visit us Tesila was 2 weeks old! We spent have of his trip in Hawaii and the other half in my house. I had just given birth to a sweet baby and it was rainy outside. This time i was well and we had a few sunny days!! So we of course took him on a walk in our backyard greenbelt down to the blue bus stop house. Tes had fun stomping in puddles and laughing when grandpa told her how silly she was. Dalia enjoyed jumping over the puddles and giggling when grandpa was so amazed at her puddle jumping skills.
They of course made grandpa read them lots and lots of stories! We made a trip to Fred Meyer to get some last minute things for Tesila's birthday party and for grandpa to get Tesila a present. Then after dinner Tes and Dalia cuddled up to their Papa to watch a movie together. They sure love their Papa!!

Britni's 27th Birthday! - Feb. 24, 2010

Today is my Birthday!!
And guess what?! My dad is coming to visit! I haven't been with my dad on my exact birthday date since i was about 12 or 13 years old. I'm just a little excited!!!!!
I picked him up at SeaTac airport about 9:30am! The girls were so excited to see their "Papa!" Dalia was talking to him right away. Tes wouldn't say a thing. Right before he got in the car she was saying, 'papa,' and talking about him. But as soon as he was in the car she got shy and quite. She will warm up to him soon. Then we went to explore some of my favorite sites of Seattle (my own self guided tour that i first gave to Callie).

We went to Pike Place Market and saw the Big Pigs!, the fish, fruit, flowers, ventures with all sorts of goods and souvenirs. Then we walked along Alaskan Way and spent some time on the Pier looking out at the Puget Sound! It was such a beautiful day, a little chilly, but pretty!!

One of the reasons i really wanted to go down to the pier is because they have a Carousel there! I wanted to take Tesila to ride a Carousel for her birthday, but this is the closest one to my house and i didn't want to make a special trip just to ride the carousel. While we on the pier looking out at the water Tesila saw a huge Carousel horse on the side of the building that the Carousel is in. She started pointing at the carousel horse excitingly saying, "Neigh!!"

We then went over to the Carousel!! Tes was so excited, as was Dalia. My dad took the girls on the Carousel, each girl on their own horse with my dad in the middle holding on to each girl making sure that neither of them fell off. I waited on the side to take their picture and wave at them as they rode by. Every time they rode past me Dalia would wave really high, that in the picture it makes it look like she is waving and saying, "Giddy Up!" Tesila had a HUGE smile on her face the entire time and kicked her legs with excitement!!
We then went to 'Kerry Park' to see the great view of downtown Seattle.

We went out to Lunch at Redmill burgers and got yummy shakes! Then we headed back home to make it to Dalia's dance class. Dalia was so very excited to have Papa at her dance class. Dalia couldn't keep her eyes of grandpa while she was dancing. She kept watching him with a huge smile on her face and would even call for him to watch her at certain times. Tes really wanted to dance with Dalia's dance class today. I'm sure she wanted to show off to Papa too. I tried my best to get Tes to dance on the sidelines, but had to go and grab her a few times, when she was headed for the dance class.
Video: Dalia at dance class:

Video: Tes dancing on the sidelines at Dalia's dance class:

Back at home, Brian was there! We made dinner, ate, opened presents, i got a cute magnet girl from my mom (dalia loves to play with it), cards (with some money!), and a paper bra with pink ribbon on it from Brian, stuck to it was a tag that said, "good for one all paid expense bra shopping trip." i have been complaining to Brian for awhile that i want to go bra shopping. Brian also got me a laptop, he just gave it to me at valentines instead.

Brian made me lite my candles (a Ha. family tradition). Then we sang happy birthday and i blew out all my 27 candles in one blow! We ate my yummy 'Better than Sex Cake,' that Brian made me (he makes me a cake every year!) What a good Birthday! I only wish i would have got to see more of Brian. But i'm really glad that my dad was here to celebrate my birthday!! (Right Dad, you came for MY birthday! not Tesila's!?!)

(Maybe coming soon. Brian recorded it the wrong direction, and i don't know how to rotate a video. If i posted it it would be sideways).

Bye.Gigi-Seattle Temple - Feb. 22, 2010

Today was our last morning with Gigi. We enjoyed out time at home. Gigi sang songs with the girls! and made me a homemade birthday card! I love it, she even drew butterflies on it and gave me a report card of A+'s as a perfect granddaughter! She is too sweet!
Brian stayed home from work today to be with all us girls!! Gigi packed her stuff and off we drove to the airport. I dropped Brian, Gigi, & Dalia off at the curb and took Tesila with me to wait in the cell phone waiting lot while they checked Gigi in. After quite sometime (about 30 mins.) Brian called to tell me that they were at the gate with Gigi. Brian and Dalia were able to take Gigi all the way to her gate. Brian found a wheelchair for Gigi to ride in and Dalia got to ride on Gigi's lap all the way to her gate! After saying goodbye to Gigi, Brian said that he pushed Dalia all the way back in the wheelchair. Let's just say Dalia thought it was really special to be with Gigi and her daddy! Thank you Gigi for coming!! We enjoyed spending time with you!
While Tes and I waited we played outside the car in the cell phone waiting lot parking lot. There were some rocks that Tes liked to pick up and throw. She turned some rocks into phones, and would call dada & gigi, "Hi Dada, Hi Gigi." Tes also enjoyed 'driving' my car! And when she would see a plane take off or land she would point at it and say, "Gigi Plane."
Video: Tes talking on her "rock" phone to dada and gigi.

After the airport we took a drive to Bellvue to see the Seattle LDS Temple! Brian and i make it there quite frequently, but the girls never see the temple, i'm not even sure that Tesila had ever been to this temple. So i thought it would be fun to go and walk around the temple grounds with the girls. They of course loved seeing the temple. Tes points at the temple and says, "pemple!" They both loved all the flowers that were in bloom and kept picking them even after i told them not to.
After the temple we went to the church bookstore down the road and then to Dairy Queen for dinner and blizzards!!

Sunday with Gigi - Feb. 21, 2010

Before church Gigi & Brian went on a walk with the girls. Dalia rode her red trike and Tes rode her push bike. Brian said Tes was so fast on her little bike. At church Dalia asked Gigi to draw a picture of her and Tes in sacrament meeting. Dalia was so excited about her new portrait.
Today we went to church and had Eric & Emily over for dinner afterward. We of course took our self timer visitor picture! I took a picture of Gigi and the two little girls sitting on her lap. Then Brian wanted one of him sitting on his Grandma's lap. We looked at our travel pamplets to Israel, Jordan, & Egypt. Grandma told us some great stories about her trip to Egypt and other travels. We heard about times when Grandma got proposed to three times in one day.

Here is a Video of Dalia singing her favorite song, "I am a Child of God." She always wants me to sing "I am a Child of God" for her at bedtime. And for Family Home Evening she always chooses to sing "I am a Child of God.

Gigi is here! - Feb. 20, 2010

Gigi flew in last night to visit us for the weekend! Gigi is Dalia & Tesila's great grandma Ha. who is Brian's Grandma. Also known as Grandma Dona! She had a missrable flight from Alaska to Seattle. Eric & Emily picked her up at the airport and brought her back to our place and she wasn't feeling any better. So Brian, Eric, & Emily took Grandma to the ER. Not a fun place to be. They ran lots of tests on her, gave her some pain medicine, and overall said it was stomach pain. Brian and Grandma got back to our house about 4am. I heard that it was a pretty awful night. I'm so sorry that Dona had to go through that.

Saturday morning we let Brian and Grandma sleep in. I took Dalia and Tes on a walk since it was beautiful and sunny. Later that afternoon when Gigi and daddy woke up we came home. Gigi read the girls stories and judged Brian and Dalia's "Rainbow" building skills with the blocks. Gigi said they both won. Dalia made her wooden rainbow all by herself and called it a rainbow. Then Brian created his huge rainbow within rainbow (his arches).

That evening we had dinner at Eric & Emily's house. We enjoyed visiting and Dalia & Tes enjoyed playing Emily's piano. Dalia likes to play the piano and sing. Here is a little video:

Date Night - Feb. 19, 2010

Tonight we met up with Mat & Bri, & Jamie & Reuben at a restaurant in Bellvue called, "Maggiano's." It is a fancy restaurant with yummy Italian food! We were celebrating Mat's new job with Microsoft! Hooray for Mat!! And since it is almost my birthday we called it my birthday celebration too!! It was fun to get together with some of our closest friends without our children. It really made me feel like we were all back in college again! I am sure glad that we live close enough that we get to see each other often.

Tie.Dress.up - Feb. 18, 2010

Dalia loves to "tie things up!" I found her today playing in the TV room, she had tied up a horse in the cord from the blinds. Tes and Dalia took a play nap with the same blanket. Tes & Dalia continue to love to play dress up!! Tes loves this big fluffy pink dress. However, it is so BIG that she can't get up the stairs while she is wearing it. She will try to go up the stairs and she ends up pouting on the floor at the bottom because she can't get up. Then mommy gets to save her and carry the little pink princess up the stairs to her room.

Babies.Dance.Beard - Feb. 17, 2010

Dalia is fascinated with beards. Even more so since Brian shaved his off. Tonight in the bath she gave herself a soap bubble beard!! Dalia loves her dance class! Tesila wishes that she could be in the dance class too (you have to be 3 1/2 to be in the dance class). Tes dances on the sidelines. Dalia & Tes are also really into pregnant bellies. They like to put their babies in their tummy and say "i have a baby in my tummy!" Then they pull their babies out and cuddle them! They will be such good mama's some day!

Dr. Dalia & Tesila - Feb. 15, 2010

Tesila likes to "sleep in mom bed." She also likes to cuddle with her daddy! Look how happy she is to cuddle with her daddy in the big bed! For Christmas Dalia got this cool doctor set complete with a white Doctor coat that says "Dr. Dalia" on it from her Grandma Ho. The girls like to take turns being the doctor and wearing the white coat. The listen to each others hearts, take blood pressure, take their temperature (Dalia always makes the temperature be on the 'happy face' and says, "She's happy!"), they like to give each other shots and put on the plastic band-aid (however, Dalia likes to gives the shots, and says, "This isn't scary." But when it is Dalia's turn to get a shot she is scared and doesn't want one). And they always have to lay on the couch to be seen by the doctor.

Here is a little video of Dr. Dalia working on patient Tesila.

Valentines - Feb. 14, 2010

Happy Valentines day from us!!
Dalia, Britni, Tesila, & Brian
We had a great Valentines Day!! Britni made valentines breakfast of 'blackberry baked french toast'. Dalia and Tes got cute pink heart pillows made by their mama! Brian got a black heart pillow complete with black jelly beans to go with his so called "black heart" of hating valentines day. Yesterday Brian surprised me with a dozen pink roses and i made a red velvet cake and decorated it with fondant hearts (my first fondant cake decorating experience). Brian made valentines dinner of 'fried ravioli.' So fancy and so tasty! Brian also surprised me with my very own "laptop!!" (which i'm typing this on right now!) But i didn't take a picture of it (i know weird). My laptop came custom with pictures of me and Brian on the desktop and screen savers!
Also, a few weeks ago i told Brian i wanted him to shave his beard off for my Valentines present. Well he remembered and did just that. He even wore his suit to church too! He looked very nice. Tesila wasn't too sure where her real daddy went. Dalia was very concerned and kept telling Brian to go put his beard back on! It will be back in a few days or a week(that's how fast Brian's facial hair grows).

Here are some fun videos from our V day! First, it was time for cake and i asked who wanted cake and Tes said, "I DO!" so cute i got a video!
Video: Who wants cake?! Tesila says, "I DO!"

Brian likes to play around with different settings on the camera, including the time lapse video. here he made an artsy video of him eating his valentine cake with Dalia.
Video:Brian's artsy video of him eating cake:

We recently rented "Mary Poppins" from the library and Dalia just loves it. She thinks the guy Bert is named Fred and i can't get her to think otherwise. She loves the songs, especially "Chim-Chim-Cherrie." Here she is singing her own version.

Bikes.Valentine Cake - Feb. 13, 2010

Today was a raining day. But we decided to let the girls ride their bikes around the neighborhood anyways. And Brian rode his new bike that he put together for me. I rode it around the block once too, but i feel like it is too big for me. Dalia loves to ride her "red bike" and likes to go fast down the hill (the road around the block has a slight decline). Brian as riding his bike with no hands so Dalia tried to ride her bike with no hands. She ended up just riding it with one hand, pretty tricky. Tesila is very good at riding her push bike! Her little legs go so fast! Also, Brian got me flowers today!! A Dozen pink roses!! I love them! and so does Dalia. Dalia thinks they are for her and Brian keeps reminding her that they are mommy's. Dalia took a picture of Brian and me this morning after breakfast, hot, huh!?
Video: Tes riding her push bike:
I spent this afternoon decorating my first ever fondant cake. I went to a fondant making class at church in January, taught by my friend Michelle R. She is very good at making cakes and decorating them with fondant. So i'm experimenting on a Valentines cake and since it worked out i might use fondant to decorate Tesila's birthday cake!

I baked the cake and made the fondant yesterday. Step 1: Layered the cake - Step 2: frosted the cake with cream cheese frosting & then corn syrup (to help the fondant stick to the cake, you are supposed to use piping gel, but i didn't have any) - Step 3: Roll out the fondant and drape it over the cake! - Step 4: (not pictured) color some fondant pink, roll out fondant and cut out hearts with cookie cutters, then stick onto cake with corn syrup (i didn't have piping gel) - Step 5: make the little circle balls for the bottom of the cake (not pictured) - Finsihed!!

Here is my lovely fondant cake (thanks for teaching me Michelle) and my beautiful Roses!!! (thank you Brian, I like you!)

Four Little Friends - Feb. 12, 2010

Teressa, Tesila, Mynoa, & Dalia!
Four sweet little girls! They are also all very good friends! We have known these girls for 2 years now. We met them when we moved into our Red house. Their mom Angie and i were Visiting Teaching companions! Angie and i both had one little girl and were both pregnant with our second little girls!! Angie and i were each others back up plan if we went into labor and our family wasn't around to take care of our older girls. It was so nice to have such a good friend as soon as i moved in. Angie's husband Isaac was also called to be our home teacher, so we got to know him well too! We quite frequently swap babysitting. I love having these four little girls together. They get a long so well and love to play with each other. And if you can't tell i love to get their picture taken all lined up! Nov. 2008, Sept. 2009, & Feb. 2010. Wow! They have all grown up so much! I can't believe it! And Angie is due with her third girl this April! I'm so excited!! Angie is one of my closest friends here! I am so thankful for her friendship and the love that she has shown my family.

Tonight as i was lining the girls up for their picture Brian stood behind me to get their attention so that they would all look the same way. Dalia and Mynoa started laughing at Brian right away! It was so cute how they were laughing so hard at whatever Brian as doing. Little Teressa was just standing there not sure what to think. Next thing i know Teressa started to make herself laugh. At first i didn't know if Teressa was laughing or crying. Nope, she was definitely laughing. I realized that both Teressa and Tesila weren't quite sure what to do, but would look at their big sisters, and noticing that they are laughing, so they had better laugh too. I just think it is so funny how Teressa needed to look over at her big sister to see what to do. I love how Tesila mimics Dalia in some things and Teressa mimics Mynoa in some things too. They are both such good sisters to one another. That is love!!

Video: Giggly girls! Teressa, Tesila, Mynoa, & Dalia

We got this neat candle card in the mail at Christmas that when you open the card the candle is flickering then you blow on the candle and the flicker goes out. Tesila has been carrying the card around all day blowing out the candle. She looks so cute blowing out the candle so of course i took a video. Here she is...

Valentines Party - Feb. 11, 2010

Last night Brian and I helped the girls make a Valentines Box for our Playgroup party that we had today! The girls enjoyed coloring the paper for their box. Mom cut out hearts and Dalia enjoyed helping Daddy glue the paper and the hearts on.

This morning we got dressed in our pink, red, and heart clothes to go to the playgroup party at the church!! Dalia had fun running around with Collin! Back at home the girls enjoyed investigating their Valentines that were placed in their box and of course eating the candy.

Lots of kids brought their bikes and Tes enjoyed pushing Dalia around (Dalia liked it too). There were lots of fun games to play (fishing, stack/match the heart candy, coloring hearts, ball toss), yummy snacks, sugar cookies to decorate and eat, and of course we delivered Valentines to everyone's boxes.

Dance.Milk.Stairs - Feb. 10, 2010

Dalia loves her new dance class!! We were getting ready for dance class today and she told me, "Mom i go to my bear class!" (that is what i thought she said). I was confused and couldn't figure out why she was calling it her bear class, i didn't see them act like bears. Well i guess they did once for a second, but why would she call it her bear class?! Finally after asking her why it was her bear class a few more times she pointed to her feet and said her "bare class!" She is excited to go to her "bare feet" dance class!! The first two dance classes she went to, those places she had to wear her ballet slippers, this class she just dances in her bare feet. So it is her "bare class."

Dalia is getting better at following her teacher "Miss Sara" and doing what she says. But Dalia usually goes a little behind everyone else and kind of does her own thing. Notice in the picture all the other little girls are surrounding Miss Sara and Dalia is running behind them all my herself as happy as can be.

Lately we put the girls to bed about 9:30pm and then Brian and i watch a TV show and then go to bed ourselves. Tonight after our show we found Dalia layed out with her blanket and pillow asleep at the top of the stairs. Sometime after we tucked her in she made her way to the top of the stairs to sleep. We of course carried her back to her bed.

Tea Party! - Feb. 8, 2010

Tea Party!!
We have been talking about having a Tea Party with our friend Lily for quite some time now. Me and the girls had fun getting dressed for the Tea Party and making little sandwiches, cookies, and juice for the party. The girls had fun stirring their juice with their spoons and eating snacks and cookies! What fun it is to have little girls!!

Uncle Tyler - Feb. 7, 2010

Uncle Tyler is back from his LDS Mission!!!

Tyler came to visit us for 2 days! It was so fun to have him here. The girls just love him. It took Tes a day to warm up to him. Saturday she wouldn't look at him and by Sunday he was making her smile and laugh! Dalia has always loved Tyler! Tyler came to visit us on his way to the MTC back in Jan. 2008. Dalia loved him then and was still so excited to see him 2 years later, Feb. 2010. We are so proud of you Tyler for serving a Mission. And we were really excited to see you!! He is still the same Tyler, just more grown up. But that's what 2 years and a mission will do to you.

Here are some then and now pictures!
January 2008 when Tyler was headed to the MTC and February 2010 just after he got of his mission! We have added 2 people since then in our Seattle group of Ha.'s.

Baby Brennan - Feb. 6, 2010

Brennan Blaine

My brothers baby was born today!! I have a nephew!! Brennan weighed in at 10 lbs. 4 oz. Erin's labor was only about 2 hours with no meds! Go Erin!! Big sister Ava thinks he's "too heavy." I am so glad that he is here and mom and baby are well! I just wish i could have went to visit him at the hospital today like the rest of my family did. Hopefully i will get to see him in June!! Congratulations Jerry & Erin.

G&G.Ha.Lake.Stevens - Feb. 6, 2010

Tyler is with us today!! Brian, Eric, & Tyler went mt. biking somewhere up north today. When i got back from teaching at the beehive conference it was so sunny and warm that we packed a lunch with grandma & grandpa Ha. and went to Lundeen Park for a picnic and to play!

The girls had fun playing on the playground. Then we went over to check out Lake Stevens. Grandpa had fun showing the girls the ducks and throwing rocks with the girls into the lake! Grandma enjoyed taking their pictures.

Later tonight we had dinner at Eric & Emily's. Dalia and Tes of coursed loved playing with Emily's horses. Tesa found a mama horse and a baby horse and kept making the mama give the baby horse kisses "muu-wahh."
We enjoyed having Tyler with us! Dalia can't get enough of him! Dalia liked cuddling with Tyler on the couch. Tesila is scared of Tyler. She won't even look at him.

Juice.Kiss.Chalk. - Feb. 5, 2010

Dalia & Tes love helping in the kitchen. Especially stirring the juice! Tesila also loves to gives kisses. She also loves to blow kisses. As i was making dinner she sat down in her chair to watch and began kissing her toes! It was so cute! When Tesa kisses she usually ends the kiss with a wide open mouth in the "ahhh" action of the "muu-wahhh" of the kiss. Below is a video of Tes kissing her cute baby toes!

Later tonight Mark, Dixie, & Tyler will be coming to our house, but not until about 1am in the morning. So we will see them tomorrow.

Also, tomorrow, saturday, Feb. 6th i taught at a Beehive Conference for the 12-13 year old girls at church. It was for all the beehive girls of the stake. The girls get to go to a few fun classes and learn some new skills. I taught a sewing class on how to make bags out of a placemat. It went really well. I had a lot of fun teaching the class. And the girls all did very well, only one girl needed to use a seam ripper.

While i was teaching at the conference Brian, Eric, & Tyler went Mt. biking and Mark & Dixie stayed at my house to take care of Dalia and Tes. Dalia & Tes were playing in the backyard with sidewalk chalk. Dixie went outside to check on them and found Dalia drawing on the side of the house. Dalia told Grandma, "you go back in the house and close the door so i can hear it so i know you are inside." Dalia didn't want grandma to stop her from coloring on the house.

Playing outside - Feb. 4, 2010

Did i mention it has been nice outside here?! Today was sunny but it was cold! That didn't stop us. We bundled up and went for a walk around the block. I pushed Tesila in the red stroller and Dalia followed along on her red bike (what is it with us and red?!). Back at home we played in the back yard on our little swing set, drew chalk pictures on the side walk, and found a lady bug crawling on our green sandbox turtle.

Earlier today we went to playgroup at a friends house in our ward and they had this awesome rocking horse. Tes loved it! All kids love it! But her is a picture of my cute Tes riding the "neigh" (what Tes calls horses). P.S. They said that we can borrow the horse for Tesa's horse birthday party at the end of the month!!

Happy Birthday to Aunt Callie & Uncle Rayson!

Bike.Potty.Dance - Feb. 3, 2010

Here we are playing with our bikes again!! Today was beautiful and sunny! Love it!! Dalia & Tes also played dress up and danced in their click clacky shoes! Tesila enjoyed playing with her new potty. She would walk in the bathroom and say, "Pa chain" (which means Potty Train) with the biggest smile on her face! She likes to lift up the lid and sit down. Then get up and wash her hands.

Later today Dalia went to her first day of her 3rd dance class! Yes, that is her 3rd new teacher, 3rd new building, and 3rd new kids. We finally found a replacement dance class from the first one that got cancelled. We were going to stay with the 2nd dance class, but it was so expensive. Brian was talking to another dad at church who told us about this 3rd dance class that is affordable for the average family just wanting their 3 year old to have some exposure to dance while having fun! It was perfect! So today we went to her 3rd and Final Dance class with Miss Sara! And there are 3 girls from our ward in that class, so she already knows someone. She was a little unsure of it at first, but we were 15 mins. late (my fault completely, i lost track of time) and their were about 15 little girls in this class (as opposed to the 6 girls in the other 2 classes). Just a little overwhelming for her. Towards the end she finally opened up and enjoyed herself. She still seems a little shy and kind of keeps to herself and does her own thing. Hopefully she will warm up in these coming weeks.

Bikes & Potty Chair - Feb. 1, 2010

It was nice enough today that we rode our bikes around the house and in the drive way! Dalia is really good at riding her "red bike" (the trike). She is so good that she doesn't want to ride her big princess training wheel bike. Tesila likes to ride on the princess bike, but i have to push her everywhere she wants to go. Dalia took a turn on the princess bike and did very well. But she didn't stay on the princess bike long. She was back to the red bike in no time at all.

Lately Tes has been interested in the toilet. She likes to sit on it and wipe, then wash her hands. So while Tes was napping Dalia and i got the potty chair out of the garage and set it in the bathroom for Tes. When Tes woke up from her nap Dalia was so very excited to show Tesila her new potty chair. Dalia kept telling Tes that it's her Potty Train. Tes was excited, but in the video she looks a little sleepy, she had just woken up from her nap.
