Sleepover with Olivia!! - Dec. 18, 2011

Olivia came for a Sleepover!!!
The girls had fun playing all day!!  Here they covered Tes in flowers and set her on the "Queen Chair."  She was the Queen!  They normally play pretty well.  Except sometimes Olivia & Tes fight over Dalia.  It's funny because Dalia doesn't seem to notice or care, she just keeps playing.  Dalia is the favorite I guess.
Dalia, Olivia, & Tes (great pose Tes!)
My three cute girls ready for the ward Christmas Party!!!
Santa came!!!
Brian did not!  He got pretty sick Saturday afternoon and he never gets sick.
And in true sleepover fashion the girls ate too much junk food and stayed up too late.  We had a fun pancake breakfast!!  The girls played some more before we go ready and went to church!
My cute little "twins!"  Olivia & Tesila!
Okay, so one of them isn't "mine."  I do like how much they look like "twins!"  and it was fun to have 3 little girls for a day!  I made a cute video of asking these two what they wanted for Christmas!  Olivia said, "A Rainbow Sled and an Ice Cream Maker!!"  Tes said, "A Pink Sled and two Big Dolls!"  (Tes wants one big doll for her and one for Dalia!  Isn't that sweet.)

The Nutcracker - Dec. 16, 2011

I took my kids to see the Nutcracker Ballet!!  Well basically the girls, but Rock had to come along too!  Two little boys from church were in it.  There mom got a group together and we got a group rate on tickets and went to a morning performance set aside for school performances.  So the ballet was shorter, only one hour long and the audience was full of kids.  So if my kids were kind of loud it wasn't that big of a deal.
Dalia, Hudson, Olivia, Rockwell, & Tesila
Aunt Emily and our friends, Olivia, Hudson, & Bri came with us too!!
Our "sweet" little girls before we went to our seats.
(Dalia loves to make crazy faces, if you haven't noticed)
Emily, Britni, Rock, Tes, & Dalia waiting for the show to start in the VERY back row on the top balcony!
It ended up being great that we were on the back row because Rock Does NOT like the ballet!  He made his daddy proud!  So i was standing up swaying a lot trying to keep Rock quiet enough that I didn't have to leave and miss it.  Mostly I think he was just tired, but he would fall asleep because there was too much going on.  He kept trying to look at the stage.  Then everyone would clap and he would get startled.
Olivia, Bri, & Hudson waiting for the show!
It was fun to take my girls to see the Nutcracker!  They both really enjoyed it!  My favorite part was watching Tes sway in her seat as she watched the dancers.  And to see Dalia & Tesi's faces light up as they saw the ballerina's!  That is why I wanted to go to the Nutcracker!  To see the excitement in my girls!  And yes, i saw it!!  Tesila's favorite part was, "When the big Nutcracker fight with his sword the mouses and saved the girl!"  Dalia's favorite part, "ALL of it!!!!"
Afterward I took my girls out to lunch at their favorite restaurant, "Subway!!!"  We always get a footlong ham and split it.  However, Tes does not like the meat, she just wants cheese and "salad".  If you ask Tes why she likes Subway she will say, "Because they have salad on their sandwiches!!"  As soon as we got in the car after the Ballet Rock fell asleep.  He even stayed asleep as I transferred him to his stroller and slept while we ate.  He was a tired little boy.

A Savior was born - Dec. 15, 2011

Merry Christmas!
There are only 10 days left until Christmas!!!  I am so thankful for this time of year that we get to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! I love the story of His birth.  The church put out this great video on Mormon Messages about our Saviors birth.  If you haven't seen it yet check it out below.

Dalia Puppet - Dec.12-15, 2011

This year I took the girls Shopping again (like last year, a new tradition), to pick out a gift for a little girl that needs a present for Christmas.  I told them to pick out something that they would like to have and then we took it to the Mall where Santa is and dropped it off in his BIG toy box and he will deliver them to kids that need them the most!  Dalia picked out a Little Mermaid polly pocket set, Tes picked a Nail Polish kit, and Rock picked a cool baby ball toy that has lots of things to grab.  However, Rock enjoyed chewing on the cardboard packaging.  The last little while Tes has been talking about what she picked to give last year.  Last year she picked an Ariel barbie wearing a pink dress!!  We have two Ariel barbies, but no pink dress.  So Tes really wanted that.  Lately she says things like, "I gave Ariel in the pink dress to a girl that has no money."  I am amazed that she remembers that from one year ago.  I'm glad that it impacted her.  So we did it again this year!
Rockwell in his cool new clothes!
Bri, does he remind you of Hudson in this outfit!
Dalia Puppet & Dalia!!
This is Dalia's gift for her Kindergarten teacher for Christmas!  a Dalia Puppet!!  We even glued flower bows in her hair (you can't see them in the picture).
I was lucky enough to be able to help out in Dalia's class this past Wednesday (i have started helping out once a month!)  I so enjoy being in Dalia's class.  I enjoy watching her learn and interact with the other kids.  I enjoy seeing how Mr. K. teaches class.  And I realize more what Dalia is talking about & explaining at home.  I am so impressed by Mr. K.'s control with all those little people, about 25 of them.  I love how Dalia will come give me a big hug when she passes me in class and of course wants to show me whatever it is she is doing.  Since i help out on Wednesdays i am able to go help out in her P.E. class as well.  It is fun to see her run around with her friends and play too.
But my favorite part of the day is Recess!  Because Dalia wants to spent it with me!  This last time we walked holding hands around the playgroup until Dalia decided she wanted to do something.  Then we did it.  I pushed her on the swing, watched her friends race, watched her go down the slide with her friend Alejandro, and then we raced back and forth, back and forth.  Then the bell rang and we held hands as we hurried back to class!  I love my little Dalia and I am so thankful to my friend Jenna for watching Tes & Rock so that i have the opportunity to attend Kindergarten with Dalia.
Rudolph Puppet, Dalia, Mr. K, & Dalia Puppet
Everyday Mr. K. brings a puppet and wears a fun hat to walk the kids out to line up for the bus or to be picked up!  Today was a very special day because after he opened up Dalia's gift to him he choose to bring Dalia Puppet out to the bus line!!  Mr. K. even had a tiny hat and scarf that fit Dalia puppet!!  He said it was perfect because he thinks of Dalia as wearing her striped hat (that she is wearing in the picture!)!!  Dalia was so very excited and i am so very grateful for such a wonderful teacher!
I made these yummy stuffed peppers for dinner and liked them so i took a picture.  I also thought about Jamie O. and how I bet she would like them since she likes peppers!
Here is my cute cooking Tes making banana bread!!
Here is Dalia with her Christmas gift from Mr. K.  He gave finger puppets to his entire class.  Dalia choose this cute Miss Piggy.
Dalia said that Miss Piggy is a part of our family.  This afternoon Dalia threw Miss Piggy a birthday party.  Dalia made the juice all by herself and Tes helped mom make the banana bread.  Then we sang happy birthday!!  Welcome to the family Miss Piggy!!

Candy Houses!! - Dec. 11, 2011

Every year we make Graham Cracker house covered in candy!  Also known as Gingerbread houses.  However, i have yet to ever make them out of gingerbread.  Not because i don't like gingerbread i just have never made it.  I have told Brian that someday i am going to make gingerbread.  This was not the someday.  Also, for the last 3 years we have decorated our candy houses with our friends the K.'s.  But not this year i was unable to get a hold of them soon enough.  We missed them.
Dalia & Tes decorating their houses!  Dalia drew her house and then i glued her graham cracker house together to look like her picture.  Then Dalia drew one for Tes and i made Tesi's house like the picture too!
Tesi being so careful applying the frosting!
Dalia & her finished house!  In the front our two gingerbread people.  They represent Dalia's Mom & Dad and they are holding a yellow jelly bean, which represents, Baby Dalia!
Dalia's house.
Tes & her house with 5 gingerbread marshmallow people (Dad, Mom, Dalia, Tesila, & Rockwell).
The girls are finished with their houses and Brian is still working on putting his together.
My finished house!  Rock helped by trying to grab at the house the entire time and whine because i never let him touch it.
Britni's house.
Tesila with the houses!
Brian adding candy "bricks" (jelly beans) to his house.  Tesila decided that her house needed more candy!  So she kept putting more and more candy on her house while Brian made his.
And Dalia added some things to hers as well.  She added some kisses to the back that were "guns" that shoot snow and candy!!  There is a machine on the side made out of pink jelly beans, that machine makes the guns work.
Tes and her candy candy candy house!!
Us with our finished houses!!!!  I just love that Rock is looking and me and smiling with delight!!  Yes Rockwell i love you just as much as you love me!!
Then Dalia judged our houses!  Mom won the most prettiest and Tes won the house with the most candy!
Brian's finished snow covered house!
The roof comes off to reveal a gingerbread man inside!

December at our house - Dec. 4-10, 2011

This is what has been going on at our house...
Rockwell likes to eat baby food!  for at least three meals a day.  He doesn't nurse as much anymore.  He now nurses every 4-5 hours instead of about every 2 hours.
Tesila likes to feed baby Rock!  She is getting better at feeding him.
 Olivia, Dalia, Isaac, & Tesila
We went to the O.'s for baby Ava's blessing!  and played for the day!  The kids were in heaven playing with their friends!!  Especially Dalia, because she got to see Isaac!  She just loves him!  and he loves her!!  Isaac says that he is going to marry Dalia!  I'm glad that they are such good friends.
Ava Elaina in her beautiful blessing dress!  It was made from her grandmother's wedding dress, how cool is that?!!
The O's and friends that attended the blessing!
Hudson & Rock!  Destined to be best friends!  So far they don't do much together.  But we are forcing them to like each other.  Maybe when Rockwell can move on his own.
 Britni & Ava!!
 My cute little Tes!
Each morning she sits at the table for Breakfast and curls her little feet under her chair so that the warm air from the heater on the wall will warm up her "toesies!!"
Now if this is not the happiest boy!!!  He loves to sit up and play with his toys and he LOVES the camera!!  As soon as i pull it out it he looks right at it and smiles this big!!
Cutie Dalia!  Dressed up as "Jessie" from Toy Story!
Tesi talking to Rock after his nap!
 Rocky waking up!
Britni & Rock like to dance to Christmas music!!
Rock loves to dance with his mommy!  He actually likes to do anything involving his mommy holding him!  And i love to hold and cuddle him!  I love his little hugs, but i adore his slobbery kisses!!
Rock is enjoying being on his tummy more!  However, he flips over to his back pretty quick, so no movement like crawling yet!  Thank goodness.  He is not allowed to crawl until after Christmas.
Sweet Tesi admiring the ornaments and lights on the tree!
Dalia happily washing the dishes!!  She learned about tithing at church so she wants to earn some money so that she can pay her tithing!
Dalia & Tes emptied the dishwasher all by themselves!  Here they are putting away the silverware!
Decorating Sugar Cookies with friends Brendan & Lillian to pass out to some families in our ward.
Our house lit up at night!
The girls and their daddy out to see the Christmas lights on our house!
Dalia's beautiful braid!  Rare for Dalia, she doesn't like sitting still for very long to get her hair done.  She usually requests a little pony tail (the fastest thing i can put in her hair).  Tonight after her bath her Daddy fixed her hair in this braid!  It looks great and she liked it too!
Daddy gave Rock an orange to play with and he was excited to roll it around his tray and suck on it.
