Jami, I made some collages a few days ago and i can't post them, weird. So i'm just going to post lots of pictures!!
On Feb. 28th it was dress up as your "Favorite Book Character" day at school.
Dalia was Mr. Willy Wonka & Tes was Briar Rose. I quickly sewed a number 6 on her crown to wear as her 'birthday crown!' to school.

(We played Pin the Bubble Gum on the Machine at her birthday party, but I didn't take pictures).
Tesi's "GUM WALL!" Started on Jan. 27th! with help from Gma Carolyn. Most of this gum was chewed by Tesila herself.

For Tesila's birthday she really wanted to go swimming at the new swimming pool in Snohomish. So her dad got of work early and we all went swimming after school! Here the kids are playing outside in the sun waiting for Brian to get home from work.
After swimming we came home for a Tortellini dinner. Then Uncle Eric & Aunt Emily came over for cake & presents!
She was excited for us to sing to her.
But then....her daddy & uncle Eric started singing all strange and it made her sad. Watch the video you can tell she was sad. Poor thing. Maybe we will not invite them to sing with us next year. And then Dalia helped her blow out her candles, which Tes didn't like, because she is a big six year old and doesn't need help blowing out her candles.
She was SO excited to open presents!!
She got new hair flowers, the Frozen soundtrack, Frozen book, boquet of red & pink roses, $30 cash total (she is so excited to go Shopping!! Tes loves to shop!), yellow nail polish, pink converse, bubble gum machine, new cookbook, aprons & chef hats, and a Frozen Elsa dress!
She got Pink Converse from Rock, which he promptly put on.
She got a Bubble Gum machine from Dalia!!
Gma Dixie made her Aprons & matching Chef hats for different holidays!
Eric, Rock, & Brian promptly put them on.
Last she opened up her "Elsa" dress!!!
She has been asking for an Elsa dress since she saw Frozen in January. But every other little girl wants one to and they are no where to be found in the stores. You can find them online for a few hundred dollars. So I told her she would not be getting one. Then a week before her birthday I came up with this crazy plan to make her one myself. So monday while she was at school Rock & I went to the fabric store and bought some pretty fabric. I spent all monday and thursday nights staying up into the early morning hours to complete her dress. I am pleased with how it turned out, but even more pleased with how much Tes loved it! She came up to me and asked, "Mom, where did you order my dress?" I told her I made it and she was so excited! I love you Tesila Rose!! And I love that she likes to dress up!!
Tesila had some friends over on Saturday for a party!
Two boys came, they did not want to sit on the floor for the picture.
We played Freeze dance to Frozen music, chewed gum & stuck it to the gum wall, played pin the bubble gum on the machine, and chewed more gum and tried blowing bubbles. I think there were about 4 kids that could blow bubbles!
Tes was most excited to open presents from her friends!

Kids ate cake and then played outside in the backyard before Pinata time!
She was excited to have a pinata!
Rock cried almost the entire time we were hitting the pinata, I think he only wanted him to hit it.
