New Years Eve Party!

We had a little New Years Party in the girls room.

Brian took a break from his floor laying and came to join us for cheese fondue!

Then us girls settled in for a good movie and cuddled on the floor.

This is what has been going on down here. Brian finished the fireplace tile. He tore up all the old tile.

Now he is laying down OSB wood down on the entire floor before he puts down the laminate! But since downstairs is not a place for little girls. Us girls have been stuck in the Pink room upstairs. The TV is up there and we seem to watch movies all day long.

This is how Dalia eats her breakfast! On her little block table while watching a movie. We have actually been eating most meals up here. We have really been stuck in that pink room.

It has been really really snowy here. So much that lots of things have been shut down, canceled, or closed. Church was canceled last week.

Here is the road right in front of our house. However, this is on a good day, things have started to melt.
Me and the girls have been stuck in their pink room since Brian is redoing the floor downstairs. So today we made it out of the house. Our first stop, the Library!

Dalia loves going to the library. she really loves playing on the computers! Even though she doesn't quite understand the games, she loves pushing buttons, trying to move the mouse around, and of course putting on the head phones, even if they aren't working.

Then we went to target to play around. Dalia found some awesome Lighting McQueen shoes!! too bad they didn't have any in her exact size or she might have been the proud new owner.

Our last stop for the day was BurgerKing for dinner and to play in their play place. Daddy met us there for dinner and Dalia ran around the play place the entire time playing with other kids, she didn't even eat her dinner. But it was so very nice to get out of the upstairs of our house which we have been stuck in for the past few days.

Christmas morning stockings, coming down the stairs, Dalia got a BuzzLightyear from Santa!, us on Christmas morn, Brian got Snowman poop from Callie, Brian made Dalia some really cool blocks! (they were the first thing opened and they were played with constantly during the entire morning of opening presents), Dalia liked to help Tesila open her presents, Tes got some cute finger puppets!, Brian enjoyed building arches with his custom blocks, when Dalia opened up a present she would play with that gift for about 5-10 mins. until she decided that she wanted to open up something else. She enjoyed coloring while Tesila watched. Callie made the girls each their open book full of pictures of themselves!! i was so touched a began to cry a little when i realized what they were. i think the book about Dalia and the book about Tes were my favorite gifts. I take so many pictures, but i don't usually print them. So it is nice to have them in a book. Thank you Callie Jo! you are amazing! that was so thoughtful! we love you!

Continuing on our Christmas morning Dalia got some little matchbox CARS!!! Which she took out of the box right away and lined them all up in a row. She loves lining or stacking things up. Then Brian made a cool ramp with the blocks for the cars. Britni got some sweet pink and black pots from Callie! (they were from my wedding). Tesila got her first My Little Pony from Callie. As you can tell from the pictures she loves it!! We kept having to tell Dalia, no that is Tesila's pony. The girls got the movie Cinderella from Grandpa A. Dalia saw this movie once at Sophie's house and is always talking about it. Tesila got a CareBear from mom & dad. She didn't seem to like it much (she was ready for a nap by this time). However, Dalia LOVED Tesila's carebear and Dalia ran right upstairs and found her pink carebear to play with the both of them. We have to keep reminding Dalia that the purple carebear is Tesila's. I didn't realize that Dalia loved carebears so much. Dalia then got a Lighting McQueen car from Eric & Emily! if you shake it and then put it on the ground it races across the floor. She also got a little Lighting McQueen matchbox car from Callie & Rayson that she loves to carry everywhere!! The girls got some books from Gigi & G&G Ha. Brian again made cool block towers. Dalia got an awesome Bus!! that the carebears fit perfectly in. And then Dalia got some mini ponies!!

Dalia's mini ponies! The girls got a fishing game. Dalia really likes it and can even catch some of the fish!! And we had a WHITE Christmas!! we woke up to a snow covered world and big white flakes coming down. It was a nice Christmas atmosphere! We went to Seattle to Eric & Emily's to have Christmas Dinner. Eric made an excellent roast! And we met their cats Vader & Obiwan. Eric and Brian even switched babies for a bit. Brian looks more excited about holding the cat then Eric does about holding Tes. Dalia really really enjoyed chasing the cats and picking up Obiwan all by herself. It was such a nice Christmas!! Thank you to all of our wonderful family for your thoughtful gifts!!

We told the Christmas story of Christ's birth with our little glass nativity!

Then the girls opened their X-presents (well the ones they hadn't opened yet, they opened their slippers a few days before without my knowledge).Dalia's cute Hello Kitty slippers! (they remind me of Jenna every time i see them!)Dalia & Tes in their new jammies!Then we made cookies for Santa. Set out some cookies and egg nog and sent the girls off to bed.

Cute little Dalia already for Santa to come while she sleeps with her new BIG dog that our neighbors Ken and Mo gave to her tonight.

Our tree awaits Santa Claus, as Britni awaits the return of Brian who left to take cousin Flora to the airport so that she can be with her family in Florida on Christmas!Each year that we have been married we have got a new special ornament for our Christmas tree. This year we got a Boeing airplane. It lights up and makes a take off noise when you press the nose.
