The Nutcracker - Dec. 16, 2011

I took my kids to see the Nutcracker Ballet!!  Well basically the girls, but Rock had to come along too!  Two little boys from church were in it.  There mom got a group together and we got a group rate on tickets and went to a morning performance set aside for school performances.  So the ballet was shorter, only one hour long and the audience was full of kids.  So if my kids were kind of loud it wasn't that big of a deal.
Dalia, Hudson, Olivia, Rockwell, & Tesila
Aunt Emily and our friends, Olivia, Hudson, & Bri came with us too!!
Our "sweet" little girls before we went to our seats.
(Dalia loves to make crazy faces, if you haven't noticed)
Emily, Britni, Rock, Tes, & Dalia waiting for the show to start in the VERY back row on the top balcony!
It ended up being great that we were on the back row because Rock Does NOT like the ballet!  He made his daddy proud!  So i was standing up swaying a lot trying to keep Rock quiet enough that I didn't have to leave and miss it.  Mostly I think he was just tired, but he would fall asleep because there was too much going on.  He kept trying to look at the stage.  Then everyone would clap and he would get startled.
Olivia, Bri, & Hudson waiting for the show!
It was fun to take my girls to see the Nutcracker!  They both really enjoyed it!  My favorite part was watching Tes sway in her seat as she watched the dancers.  And to see Dalia & Tesi's faces light up as they saw the ballerina's!  That is why I wanted to go to the Nutcracker!  To see the excitement in my girls!  And yes, i saw it!!  Tesila's favorite part was, "When the big Nutcracker fight with his sword the mouses and saved the girl!"  Dalia's favorite part, "ALL of it!!!!"
Afterward I took my girls out to lunch at their favorite restaurant, "Subway!!!"  We always get a footlong ham and split it.  However, Tes does not like the meat, she just wants cheese and "salad".  If you ask Tes why she likes Subway she will say, "Because they have salad on their sandwiches!!"  As soon as we got in the car after the Ballet Rock fell asleep.  He even stayed asleep as I transferred him to his stroller and slept while we ate.  He was a tired little boy.
