End of June 2011 - July 5, 2011

Some pictures from the end of June.

Tomorrow is July 6th (happy birthday to my Sis-in-Law Emily!!) - Callie's family is coming to visit!!  I can't wait!

Fourth of July - July 4, 2011

Since it is America's Birthday Dalia insisted that we make a birthday cake, sing happy birthday, and blow out the candles!  So that is what we did.  We made American flag cakes!  We kept one for ourselves and the other one we delivered to Emily for her birthday on July 6th!  (Eric is away in England and she is at home studying to take the Bar (Law Test)).
We were able to see fireworks from our front door window.  So the girls set up chairs to sit on to view the occasional fireworks.  They then Feel asleep on the chairs and we carried them to bed.  - July 3, 2011
Oh and Rock enjoys looking at his toys and he can even hold some in his hand for a minute or so.


Fourth of July we took Subway sandwiches to the park.  We ate, played on the playground, walked to the the lake (next to the playground).  The girls had fun stepping on the rocks.  Some people were even setting off fireworks there (even though it wasn't dark).  We then left and went grocery shopping.  I know totally lame.  On a good side we had most of Fred Meyer to ourselves.  It was really sad though when we began to hear loud booms of fireworks going off and we were grocery shopping.  But it needed to get done and i was thankful to have Brian's help.  We arrived home and camped out in our backyard for a few minutes watching the fireworks of others as they were launched in the air.  I love that about Washington.  Most people launch their fireworks in the sky and we are able to see them.  We did buy sparklers and let the girls play with those.   Also, the last picture is of on before church on Sunday wearing our Red, White, & Blue outfits!  Happy Birthday America!!!

Bottle.Tent.Backyard - July 2, 2011

July 2011!
I have a baby boy!  He is one month old!  wow!  Rock took a bottle from Tesila!  Tesila was very proud to "feed" her baby brother.  Rockwell likes to look at people.  He has started to smile!  We are enjoying playing in our backyard!  Rock doesn't like the wind.  We went to our ward BBQ.  Brian set up the tent in the backyard.  The first night just Brian and Tes slept out in the tent.  Here is a picture of Brian and Tes right before they walked out to the tent!  Tes was SO excited to be sleeping in the tent with her daddy!!!  (The next night Dalia joined them.  Rock and mom slept in the house in mom's big bed.)  The girls LOVE our kiddie pool!  In this picture Brian and Dalia are playing a game of throwing the balls into the pool.  Dalia made up the game and the point system.

Ducks & Picnic - June 23, 2011

 

Today Dalia and Tes packed us a Picnic to take to the park and some bread to feed the ducks!  At first they packed the entire loaf of bread for us to feed the ducks.  I convinced them to just take a few slices of bread and not the entire loaf.  Our picnic was packed with a blanket/table cloth, marshmallows, goldfish crackers, string cheese, granola bars, and our water bottles!  I was so proud of my girls!
We first went and fed the ducks!  Dalia giggled with delight every time the ducks ran after and ate the piece of bread she had just thrown.  Tesila liked to try to walk up to the ducks to feed them, but they would walk away from her.  She even tried chasing a few of them.  Rock slept while we fed the ducks.  Then we had a picnic by the playground.  The girls ate and played, rock slept, i ate and watched the girls.  Then it began to rain, but i promised to push Tes in the "baby swing" (she LOVES swinging in the baby swings!).  So Rock slept in his carseat covered from the rain while i pushed Dalia and Tes on the swings in the rain before heading home.  It was a great day at the park with my kids!
p.s. it was my first time at the park with my 3 kids, and everything went quite smoothly.

Rock's first week of Life - May 30, 2011

 Tesi asked to hold Rock!!!  Wow!  i was so excited that she finally wanted to hold him.  She did a great job too.  However, she didn't hold him long.  Just long enough for me to take this cute picture!

Dalia was so excited to meet Rock!  She drew him a book, brought him a present, and thinks his name should be Rock Star!

Tesila was very unsure of him.  She said, "I don't want to touch him," and it was difficult to convince her to be in a picture with him.

 Rock is such a sweet baby!  He sleeps a lot and has a tiny sometimes high pitched cry! (when he cries, which so far hasn't been very often)

40 Weeks Pregnant!! - May 19th, 2011

 Today marks my 40 Weeks of being pregnant with baby boy!

We are ready for him to come anytime!  He is ready and my body is ready, we are just waiting on some good contractions to start!!

I am so glad that she is here!  She is helping SO much!  With my ever expanding belly it is getting difficult to move around and it is so nice having her here to take care of us!

Happy 39 Weeks of being Pregnant to me! - May 12, 2011

Today marks my 39th week of pregnancy!  That means our baby should be here soon!

Soon enough Tesila won't have a "shelf" to sit on as i hold her.  She does think it's funny when i tell her that she is "sitting" on baby brother.  We are so excited to meet him!  I'm just scared to get him out.  I keep telling myself, I Can do it!!  It will only be a few hours and it will be worth it.  This afternoon i have a doctors appointment.  Brian is coming with me!  My mom comes Saturday night, May 14th!  We now just need a baby!

I just put this picture up because i love it!

Jamie it's fun being pregnant with you!!  I'm so excited that you are pregnant again too!!  I can't wait for you to find out if it is a boy or girl!!

P.S.  i am now 38 weeks pregnant!!  i had my doctors appointment yesterday and my body is progressing really well.  3 cm dilated and 50% effaced and the babies head is low.  my group B strep test came back positive, blah.  i was positive with Tes as well.  so hopefully this time around i will be able to get all the medicine in me before i deliver this little boy.  He is very active and kicks me a lot.  Dalia likes to push his feet down into my tummy when he kicks.  Tesila likes to come over at random times and kiss my belly.  Then she smiles and says something like, "i kissed baby brother!"  Brian is realizing that soon enough he can't just say "the girls" when he is talking about his family.  And I am so excited to start carrying around BLUE!!  I am also now starting to realize how very real this is.  I'm going to have a baby!  and soon!!  i need to get my hospital bag packed!
