Dalia really enjoyed going shopping!! She loved putting all the different kinds of fruit and vegetalbes in her bag. She got very upset when i wouldn't let her take them out of the food area. She really thought they were her's to have.

The awesome firetruck! There were slides in the back that the girls loved going down!! I think this was Tesila's favorite area! She really loved going down the slide. I took a video but my camera was set on the fast video setting and so it didn't really work. At first Tes wasn't sure about the slide and had this conserned look on her face. But after a few slides down the slide she changed her mind and had the biggest smile on her face. As soon as she got down the slide she began to crawl back to the stairs to do it again!!

Downstairs they had lots of things you could use to build things. Like these interesting pyramid blocks, some tube things, paper cups to stack, and huge foam blocks to stack up too and knock down. We had lots of fun at the children's musuem, but i think Brian had the most fun.

Tesila so far just stands behind the hippo and Dalia hopes that she will push her. Tesila could do it if she wanted too, but she just stands there. When she is ready she will push Dalia.

Here Tesila helps daddy put on the hinges for our new closet door. Tesila loves watching whatever Brian is doing. Especially when he is building something and working with tools.

Dalia's first Pony Tail!!
I can put all of Dalia's hair in a pony tail now! It doesn't last all day, because she is only 2 and rolls around on everything and it turns into a mess. But when her hair is all up it looks so cute!! She also loves it, and will grab her pony tail with one hand and say, "my pony tail."

Tesila's got a pony tail too!! Dalia thinks that is really cool that they both had a pony tail in today.

Stick the Frog!

Tesila enjoys holding onto things and standing up. Here she is watching a movie with her big sister.

We checked out a book called "Stick" at the library. Stick is a frog that sticks his tongue to everything. We decided to make Dalia her very own Stick. So here he is. Stick the frog puppet!!

Britni & her crazy friend Brian at a pizza joint "Craigo's" in Rexburg, ID. These two had no idea what the future had in store for them.

I never ever would have guessed that night back in January 2003 that today, January 9, 2009 that i would be married to Brian and that we would have two of the cutest little girls in the entire world. I am sure glad that i have Brian in my life today. I love that Brian.

She opens up these cabinet doors and sits in the corner of them. Only Dalia and her babies are aloud in her house. Tesila is aloud to knock and peek inside. I get in big trouble if i am standing in front of one of the cabinets when it is closed or if i close one of the cabinet doors.

Tesila LOVES socks!! She likes to take them off her feet and chew on them. or find socks laying around the house to chew on. Sounds yummy, i know.

Lately dalia loves to play with the wash rags! They usually end up being blankets or clothes for her babies.

Boots & Cheerios

We took Dalia to the store to get her some rain boots with her Christmas money from G&G Ho. She loved the ones with the "bitterflys" the best. She loves to wear them and loves to look at them.

Tesila loves to eat Cheerios!! and not just any old cheerios. It must be the name brand Cheerios!!

Dress Ups!

Throughout the year last year i worked on collecting things for a Dress Up box to give the girls at Christmas. However, since we had so many others fun things to open on Christmas i saved their Dress up box for later. Well today is the later day. They opened their Dress Up box to day and we played dress up all day. Here are some fun pictures.

Dalia of course got more into it then Tes. Tesila stared to get tired while we were playing and needed a nap, that is why she is all mad. It is not because she doesn't like playing dress up, i promise. Dalia loved to dress up as a princess and have me dress up as "the guy" as she called it (which was wearing the helmet, holding the sword and shield) then chase her around. She also really liked to wear her pretty shoes and walk around the house making a "clicking" noise.

Dalia also LOVED all the jewlery!!!

January Stuff

The Luckiest Candy Cane - or - the worst shot?!

Throughout the holiday season that our tree has been up, Brian has tried to shoot (with his air soft gun) different things on the Christmas tree. Mainly he says that he was just trying to hit this candy cane. In the process he has killed a few glass ball ornaments. When all the other ornaments were gone he placed the candy cane just so and stood back for a great shot. He thought he hit the candy cane, finally. However, the morning i began to take the lights off the tree i plugged them in and half of the tree wasn't lit. What happened?!? i looked around and noticed Brian still didn't hit the candy cane. He hit the light and cracked the socket. Now we have a strand of lights that only works half way.

Dalia found this awesome game with lots of pretty shiny marbles and she loves to play with it.

She even made sure that her animals were playing the game too.

Ta-da!! The floor is in!!!
New tile around the fireplace, new paint, new closet door, new trim (around the door & closet, more to come later), and a NEW floor!!! we are lovin' it!! Thank you BRIAN!!

The TV room!

We were headed to Auburn to play with the Mac's. We were driving over the big bridge with Seattle coming into view when the car started to sound and feel funny. Brian suspected a flat. We pulled over and what do we find. Yes, a flat tire. So my trusty husband began to put on a spare, easy enough. Well to his suprise one of the four lug nuts was striped and there fore the tire would not some off. With his manly strength he eventually ripped that sucker off. Put a new tire on and we were off to Auburn. Only an hour late or so. Mat & Bri introduced us to yes, Guitar Hero. Brian was quite good, he thought i would be, but i was terrible. Mat & Bri have the real guitar hero skills. We were impressed.

Little baby Teslia got into her first cat fight. She didn't win.

We are trying to enforce potty time with Dalia so we bought her some real panties!! Princess & Lighting McQueen!!!

Happy New Year - 2009!!

Just before midnight we bundled up and headed out into our snowy backyard. We were able to see lots of fireworks that were set off by neighbors all around us. Dalia was scared of the fireworks and kept asking us to go inside. Tesila on the other hand just stared in wonder.

Back inside we popped some poppers, Tesila enjoyed playing with the streamers that were inside.

Dalia enjoyed being free from her bedroom and ran around and around the stair case.
